OCCY aka Tommy Hinga is no stranger to the indie scene. For five years, Hinga played dozens of shows with then Brooklyn-based buzz band, The Denzels, finding moderate success on New York's DIY scene. Like many in Bushwick, Brooklyn's never-never land vibes got old and felt like treading water, so Hinga moved back to his native West Coast, bought a computer (!), and captured his new life in a self-recorded manifesto titled No Way
